The pundit, who made 156 league appearances in a six year spell at Arsenal, says the decision to drop Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang against north London rivals Tottenham for being late earlier this season was wrong.
“I think he’s made bad decisions with Aubameyang for instance, when he dropped him before the local derby against Spurs,” Groves added.
“He did [have a choice]. You need your captain on your side and players get treated differently. You need your captain to help. You treat players differently.”
