ARSENAL striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has questioned Unai Emery’s tactics after the Gunners scraped past 10-man Watford on Monday night.
The Gabon international scored his 18th Premier League goal of the season as Arsenal kept their top four hopes alive with a 1-0 victory.
He had keeper Ben Foster to thank after his howler ensured Emery’s side took all three points.
But they were on the ropes at times and despite Troy Deeney’s sending off in the 11th minute of the contest, fellow strike partner Alexandre Lacazette failed to get on the field.
Aubameyang, making just his second start in eight league matches, spoke to Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville after the game and admitted he was not happy with his manager’s team selection.
He said: “Everybody knows that I like to play with Laca[zette] because we have a great partnership. Sometimes one plays, the other is on the bench. It’s like that. You have to fight for the team.
“I think you know that I like to play with two strikers but I don’t want to say it because the coach will be maybe a bit angry.”
It was Arsenal’s first clean sheet on the road this season to move them into fourth, one point behind North London rivals Tottenham.
