JUVENTUS and AC Milan are keeping tabs on Aaron Ramsey with Arsenal prepared to sell the midfielder in January, according to reports.
The Gunners have failed to agree fresh terms with the Welshman and his representatives for a new deal for the 27-year-old, who is a free agent next summer.
Now, after months of wrangling, Arsenal have withdrawn their contract offer and seem to have given up on Ramsey extending his stay at the club beyond next May.
And the Mirror claim Unai Emery is ready to flog the midfielder before allowing him to quit at the end of the season for nothing.
With Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis moving to Milan at the end of October, the San Siro side could have an inside track on talks between his old club and the Welsh international.
Juventus are also monitoring Ramsey’s situation as they look to bolster their midfield options.
Despite Arsenal potentially looking to offload the midfielder in the next window, Ramsey and his agent are in total control of proceedings.
Ramsey is entitled to sign a pre-contract with an overseas club on January 1, overriding any deal the Gunners could thrash out with another club.
The midfielder who moved to North London ten years ago from Cardiff, was a late sub in the 3-1 Carabao Cup win over Brentford on Wednesday.
However, Ramsey is expected to be restored to the starting line-up for Saturday’s home game against Watford.
