Wilfried Zaha has hit out at the “sad and annoying” speculation surrounding him at present, with a big-money transfer to Arsenal continuing to be mooted.
The Crystal Palace winger finds himself at the centre of a long-running saga.
An approach from Emirates Stadium has been made, although the terms offered by the Gunners have fallen a long way short of the Eagles’ valuation.

That has sparked further rounds of gossip, with Palace said to be frustrated at the approach being taken by a Premier League rival to unsettle their star man.
Arsenal, though, are refusing to bow down, with sources close to recruitment plans in north London revealing that Zaha remains a top target.
A further bid is expected, despite the Gunners now being linked to the likes of Real Madrid forward Lucas Vazquez and Barcelona winger Malcom.
Zaha is disappointed at the attention he is being given, especially as his focus is currently locked on events at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with the Ivory Coast.
He has posted in a message on social media: “Whatever happened to speaking facts?
“It’s sad and annoying how anyone will just open their mouth and speak on things or situations they know absolutely nothing about.”

When quizzed on the Arsenal speculation by On Sport, Zaha said recently: “I have no comment on it.
“The only thing that’s on my mind right now is trying to win [AFCON].”
The ex-Manchester United winger added when asked if he would like to play for the Gunners: “I don’t know. We’ll see in the future.”
His brother, Judicael, has already stated that it would be a “dream” for Zaha to represent the club he supported as a boy.
He told Sky Sports: “Wilfried will always hold Crystal Palace and their fans in the highest regard and all the support they’ve given means the world to him.
“It’s my brother’s dream though, to play for Arsenal.
“Given all Wilfried has given to Palace to help them remain a Premier League club.
“I hope Palace will be able to see their way to agreeing a deal with Arsenal that allows Wilfried to realise his dream of playing European football for the club he’s supported since childhood.”
