Auclair also does not think the takeover will end up happening and says it is the wrong time to be looking at buying a football club, especially Arsenal.
“To be honest I genuinely don’t think it’s going to happen,” Auclair said.
“The club is valued at something like £2bn, which in the current circumstances you’d have to be completely and utterly mad to invest in a football club that has, in terms of sporting terms has gone down ever since the second decade of Arsene Wenger’s reign, which is now a mid-table club, which financially is going absolutely nowhere.”
