Arsenal hosts Burnley in the early kickoff of the second Premier League weekend of the season as both sides look to build on a winning start.
The Gunners triumphed 1-0 in Newcastle on Sunday thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who notched his 33rd Premier League goal in just 50 appearances.
Unai Emery left new signings David Luiz, Nicolas Pepe and Dani Ceballos on the bench for over an hour, but at least some of them could be involved on Saturday as Arsenal looks to win the opening two games of a Premier League season for the first time since the 2009/10 campaign.
Back then, the Gunners beat Everton and Portsmouth in their first two fixtures, and will be hoping to continue their positive record against Burnley.
Arsenal has won the last nine Premier League games against the Clarets, scoring 10 goals in the last three meetings between them at the Emirates Stadium.
Like its opponents on Saturday, Burnley also got off the mark with a win, trouncing Southampton 3-0.
The Clarets have never won their opening two games of the season since the inception of the Premier League. To find the last time they did so in the top-flight, one has to go back all the way to 1973/74 campaign.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Saturday.
