Chelsea have shown interest in signing Ajax star Hakim Ziyech.

That’s according to Italian website Calciomercato, who claim Maurizio Sarri’s side have their ‘eyes’ set on the Morocco international.

Ziyech has notched up 15 goals and provided 13 assists in all competitions for Ajax, including one against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Ajax signed the winger, 25, from Twente in 2016 for £11million but is now valued at upwards of £35m.

However, it remains to be seen whether Ajax, who have already lost Frenkie de Jong to Barcelona for an initial £65m, are prepare to entertain offers.

Barcelona are winning the battle to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic.

The Catalan giants are in the market for a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez, who turned 32 in January.

And have identified Jovic, who is currently the top scorer in Bundesliga with 19 goals, as an ideal addition.

Goal claim Real Madrid, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are all monitoring the Serbia international – but trail Ernesto Valverde’s side.

Jovic, 21, joined Frankfurt from Benfica in 2017 on an initial loan deal and they are planning to seal his signature for £5million before setting his price-tag at £52m.

One of the more unexpected transfer stories…

MLS side Orlando City have signed Nani. Yes, that Nani.

The former Manchester United winger, 32, arrives on a free transfer from Sporting Lisbon having managed nine goals in 28 appearances this season.

“This is an exciting day for our organisation,” said Orlando City chief Luiz Muzzi. “Nani brings tremendous experience to our roster. He’s a dynamic winger with quality abilities to move and cross the ball, impact games and lead the offensive play.”

Manchester United have entered the battle to sign Birmingham forward Che Adams.

As reported earlier, Arsenal and Celtic both sent scouts to watch the striker against Watford last Tuesday.

However, the Daily Mirror now claim Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United have shown interest in the 22-year-old.

Adams recently scored in six Championship games on the trot, taking his tally to 19 for the season, and is said to have attracted bids of up to £9million from Burnley back in January.

Arsenal letting Aaron Ramsey leave for free in the summer is “frightening”, claims former Gunner Steve Sidwell.

“The Aaron Ramsey situation is just frightening,” Sidwell told talkSPORT.

“They’ve backed themselves into a corner with the wages they’re paying Ozil – and even that saga was a strange one – and they’ve got to let him [Ramsey] go now.

“They’re slowly becoming a selling club where their best players are leaving, and if they don’t buck their ideas up they are really going to fall short of top-four football.”

Paul Pogba sensationally tried to engineer a move away from Manchester United in January.

That’s according to Tuttosport, who claim the France international was eager to return to Juventus.

It is said that he called his old club, despite his form improving under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

But Juventus refused to launch a bid for their former midfielder.

The Independent claim United have turned their attention away from Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, who was previously their No 1 target.

Man Utd have renewed their interest in signing Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.

But Express Sport understands United will only make their move if Wolves drop their £100million valuation.

Wolves paid £15.8m for Neves when they bought him from Portuguese club Porto in July 2017.

United have had scouts monitoring his progress all season.

PSG are keeping tabs on Arsenal’s midfield sensation Matteo Guendouzi.

The France Under-21 international has impressed at the Emirates this season and PSG have been scouting him ahead a potential summer move.

Unai Emery he has been told that he can raise money by selling players like Mesut Ozil to boost his kitty and might therefore consider cashing in on Guendouzi.

PSG would need to offer the Gunners around £60m – ten times what Arsenal paid for him – if they want any chance at all of signing him.
