English Premier League: Declan Rice (48′) West Ham 1-0 Arsenal

Saturday was a day to savour for new West Ham hero, Declan Rice.

Rice, 20 on Monday, scored his first career goal as the Hammers beat Arsenal 1-0 in front of a club record 59,946 crowd at the London Stadium.

Rice, who can play in defence or midfield, was man of the match thanks to a swashbuckling display against Unai Emery’s men.

And after the game, the academy product was pictured in the pub toasting the victory among a group of West Ham fans.

Victory over Arsenal sure tasted sweet for Rice and the happy Hammers.
