Arsenal are yet to make a formal bid for the Portugal international due to their ongoing pursuit of Partey.
Pereira has talked up a move to the Emirates to team up with Arteta.
“I think he is doing a really, really, good job there,” Pereira said.
“He is a Spanish coach, he is a bit similar to Portuguese coaches, they also want to play with the ball and improve with the ball, so I think he is a good coach.
