Chelsea secured their first continental silverware in six years by soundly trouncing Arsenal in the Europa League final in Baku on Wednesday.
After a slightly flat first half, the game rocketed into action within five minutes of the restart when Olivier Giroud headed the Blues in front.

When it comes to the Champions League final, Liverpool have just garnered themselves one heck of a celebrity fan — we’re talking an actual, bona fide superhero here!
The Russo brothers, aka the movie directors responsible for both “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame,” have left little doubt as to whom they will be supporting come Saturday night.
Indeed, the Russos used their official Twitter account to nail their colours to the mast by sharing a motivational image of Iron Man himself draped in his very own Liverpool shirt, bearing an outlandish number that references one of the most touching moments in “Endgame.”
Not sure we agree with four-figure squad number (No.17 is free and available) but it’s a very cool mock-up nonetheless.
With Iron Man on their side, surely there’s no way the Reds can fall short now.
West Ham launch 80s retro kit
Introducing our new 2019/20 Home and Away kits ⚒

West Ham are the latest club to unveil their new kits for next season by releasing their brand new 2019-20 home and away strips in tandem.
The new home kit is directly inspired by the chevron-heavy shirt worn by the classic Hammers line-up of 1980, the year in which the likes of Billy Bonds, Frank Lampard Snr and Trevor Brooking lifted the FA Cup.
The away shirt is predominantly white and laced with obligatory claret and blue trimming — the precise colours worn by West Ham when they beat Arsenal 1-0 at Wembley to lift the cup on that sunny afternoon in May.
Haven’t Gunners fans suffered enough for one day?
Norway’s Hagland scores triple hat trick
What could be better than scoring a hat trick for your country at a prestigious international tournament like the U20 World Cup? Doing it three times over and setting a new tournament record, that’s what!
That’s right, Norway striker Erling Braut Haland bagged a record nine goals for his team in a runaway 12-0 victory over Honduras at the U20 World Cup in Poland on Thursday.
The 18-year-old RB Salzburg striker scored four times before the half and then added another five after to break the previous record for goals in a single game at the U20 World Cup of six.
Haland, the son of former Leeds United and Manchester City player Alf-Inge Haland, had scored just six goals in all competitions for both club and country since September 2018, before his record-setting outing on Thursday.
Prior to his move to Austria in January, Haland scored 14 times for Molde in Norway’s top flight and netted his first goal for Salzburg in May in a win over Linz.
Some potentially bad news remains for Haland and Norway, though, because despite the record night Norway finished third in Group C behind New Zealand and Uruguay and will have to await the results of the rest of the group stage matches to see if they advance as one of the top-four third-place teams.
